Did you know Qizzup has a YouTube channel?! We will be posting tips, tricks, and lots of fun things on our channel WEEKLY! Our latest video shows some great ab exercises we love doing to keep our core strong for our aerial practice. These 5 conditioning exercises don’t require any special equipment so they are easy to do from home! Click HERE to go check it out!
LEG LIFT CIRCLES
Lie down on the floor with your legs together. Lift up your legs then split them apart at the top and make a big circle with them until they meet at the bottom again. Then reverse the direction.
“V” UPS
Start by lying on the floor with your legs together and arms overhead. Use your core to bend at your waist bringing your legs and arms up trying to keep your legs nice and straight the whole time. Reach your hands to your toes then lie back down gently. Repeat!
RUSSIAN TWISTS
Balancing on your toosh, lift bent legs up slightly so your toes are not touching the floor. Lightly tap the floor with both hands to one side then twist your torso to touch the other side.
BOAT POSE WITH ARM PULSES
Similar to the V up position, balance on your toosh with straight legs lifted up at about a 45 degree angle. Bring your arms straight by your side as if reaching just past your thighs and pulse them up and down.
PUNCH UPS
Leg lifts, but with an added lift! Start by lying flat with legs together and arms at your side. Keep your legs straight as you lift them up off the floor. Once your feet are pointing up to the ceiling, lift your toosh off the floor. Gently let your back down and repeat. For an added challenge, lower your legs all the way down to just a few inches from the floor before you lift them back up then lift your toosh up.
