Growing up is a challenging, weird, and interesting time for us all. Some encounter anxiety from school or insecurities with our self-image. We all face different hurdles in the process of growing up. When I look back on my childhood, I specifically remember how important it was for me to have a creative outlet while overcoming my own struggles.
Finding the arts through aerial and theatre taught me the beauty of self-expression. Art holds a special power in this world. It can create change, inspire others, and start important conversations. Being a part of something this monumental at such a young age gave me the courage to confidently be myself.
This inspiration never runs out because artists are all around us. The spark of joy that theatre brought me as a child comes back every time I see a brilliant film or read an honest story. This passion still motivates me to chase my dreams because I want to share that beautiful feeling only art can create.

She now attends Azusa Pacific University in the BFA acting for the stage and screen program. Ashley has trained in aerial arts for ten years and later became a teacher! She loved teaching and working with kids and hopes to continue working in the entertainment industry.
